Audio Art Asylum Slow Scan TV Net

What do you need?

You almost surely already have all the hardware you need to get started. All that is needed is a phone or computer and a radio. A wired connection between the radio and device will work best, but you can get good results by just holding your phone up to the radio, particularly if there isn’t a lot of background noise. This makes it nice because you can participate with just a phone and an HT! And if you want to use a computer and already have a radio setup to work with Winlink, then you should be good to go (or holding a radio up to a computer mic and speakers should work just like it would using a phone) There are various apps that will either receive, transmit, or do both.

We have had stations participate over both AllStar and Echolink. Allstar has at times produced results sending images that are semi-workable, and Echolink has not worked. It never hurts to try though.

We enjoy newcomers and we don’t mind working through technical difficulties, so come try it out!
